Chickpea pasta

  • Dried chickpeas 250 g
  • Parsley a few chopped sprigs
  • Olive oil 1 dl
  • Spaghetti broken 300 g
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Leek (white) 1 piece
  • Salt


  • Put the chickpeas in water with a little bicarbonate the night before. In the morning rinse the peas and put them in a saucepan big enough to cook even the pasta. Cover with water and add also the garlic and leek. Cook slowly keeping the lid a bit open. When cooked add the parsley, oil, salt and the pasta. Stir frequently.
    The result should be creamy. Serve warm.
