Extra Virgin DOP is a superior quality olive oil, with wonderful aromatic characteristics. The DOP guarantees both the origin and the excellence of the olives. The policy document of DOP “Aprutino-Pescarese” also prescribes: the use of at least 80% of the typical olive known as “Dritta”, specific periods for the harvesting of olives and the milling within 72 hours from harvest and numeration of bottles. Organoleptic requirements are detected by a panel of taster experts mandated for the purpose of issuing DOP Certification.
